According to my, my performance in this module was always average and in the assessment also got the marks as expected. I still need a lot of practice for this module especially. But in the digital skills, I expected more than I got then I realised that it was due to a lack of elements to be used in designing.
My areas of strength -
I can draw the objects by looking at their image
I can use the digital platform and the tools in it correctly.
I always try to make the drawing to show my thoughts even if they are not perfect.
These strengths I gained by myself without anyone's assistance and from my previous experience in school. These strengths help me to at least show what I want to convey that can be changed by taking the feedbacks.
My key gaps in my approach during term 1 are -
I have no previous experience in the art and drawing part and which had created a terror in my mind to draw. I want to show my visual skills but I lack them. And this online learning also affect my study, I couldn't ask sir to draw on my sheet and tell me how to draw it.
My areas of improvement -
Drawing Skills from 3d to 2d
Fear of Exploration
Usage of Design Elements
My main barrier is time management to improve my problems. I will reduce my sleep time to do more work. I like to do only line drawing so I will find a way to show my visual skills with the line drawing only and also push myself to explore with colour mediums also.
Concrete steps that I will take to achieve these improvements -
I will not let my fear overwhelm me to draw and still draw it even I get fewer marks.
I will explore more than before and will get the desired results by completing the Daily drawing document and practice more on the drawing.
I will practice more on using colour balance, harmony, emphasis, movements and rhythm.
For my drawing skills, I am taking my peer's help on how they do it.
I will ask my peer and check my grades for the next projects to know where am I standing now.
