LJL: Period Drama (GAD)

Visual and Material Culture is the way of communication of the people of a particular place which is either used to educate people or to share personal thoughts. It includes every form of art, movies, drama, clothes, all other tangible components of that place in a particular time period. It provided us with the history of them, the meaning and context they wanted to convey. This culture is evidence for all the memorable events that happened in past. Everything we create in the present is the visual and material culture for our future generations so that they do not forget it.

This video showed many King portrait, paintings, sculptures, architecture and the clothes they wear and many of them I even searched for my research, I saw tools which I didn't find. These things also convey their visual language.

In every form of art, I found almost the same visual language being.

EOD - Dot and lines are being used to make patterns and creases on clothes and to show the outline of the figures and beginning of perspective drawing and now going towards realism. The colours are reddish-brown, gold and silver which are creating more emphasis on every art.

POD - Every art is visually balanced with the use of symmetry and colours and emphasis is created on a king or Jesus with the use of colours or the items they are holding. There is also movement in every art due to the scenes and the direction of the eyes of the people.
