Material And Non-material components of the Social Media

Social media are interactive computer-mediated technologies which are used to collect and spread the information and to improve the general awareness of the people. This culture is a widespread culture and now almost every person is connected to this community. There are many platforms of this social media like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc. To use this social media we always need a phone or a computer and this can be called as the material components of this community. The information we write or the pictures we post in the social media and other things we do in social media also come under the material components. I always found social media is the fastest medium to spread information and it can make someone famous in seconds or can give sudden falls in everything. We must use social media carefully and must show that is true otherwise many controversies arise. People mostly post about their lifestyle and many are social media influencers. So according to me all these rules and belives I wrote above must come under non-material components of this community. This belives can only convey through visuals or some written information and some medium to spread them so this is how these material components are related to these non-material components.
